Youre making the tooth fairy roll quarters!

Dear Big D, Nine months ago, you looked like this:

Eight months ago, you looked like this:

Seven months ago, you looked like this:

Are you noticing a pattern?

Two days ago, this:

And now:

Maybe you should replace your new habit with...oh I don't know...growing some teeth! I love your toothless grin, don't get me wrong. But seriously, think about that poor tooth fairy and all of the money she is having to shell out. Please.

God's sense of humor

When I was pregnant with little d. I prayed alot! Through my prayers I "ordered" my daughter. I prayed for a daughter. I prayed for her health. I prayed for her daddys blue eyes. And I'm pretty sure I ordered curly hair. I'm pretty sure I specifically ordered curly hair. Maybe I should've been more specific. Or maybe God is once again proving that he has a sense of humor. I kind of got what I "ordered".

Little d has a curly hair. As in one lock. The rest of her hair is straight as a board! Maybe next time (if there is one) I'll be more specific.

the lost pee pee

Little d and her pee pee had the strangest conversation this morning. She was sitting on her potty "waiting for pee pee" and started talking. Not talking to me, but to her pee pee. It went something like this

"pee pee!? Where la you???"

*looks between her legs* "I don't see you!"

"hmmm? Mommy? Where pee pee go?"

me: "I don't know little d. Where is it?"

"I get it!"

...a moment or two goes by...

*stands up beside her potty* "Pee pee, there u lis!" "I find it Mommy! I find the pee pee!"

"Its white he-ya!"

She peed in the potty for the second time! I'm so proud of my little d! She found her pee pee!!! I love her! She makes me laugh. Not just a little giggle. But the literally laughing out loud kind of laughing.

Sweet middle D, you are six!

Middle D, My dear sweet only son! Today we celebrate you!

My baby boy, you are six! That's beyond a whole hand! All day I have reminised the past six years. Today I thought about the three surgeries I had while pregnant with you. And I am still just as amazed that you fought so hard for your little precious life. After every surgery I anxiously waited for the ultrasound to prove that you were still with me. And after every one, there you were "still kickin" literally. We went through alot together before I ever met you!

You were born three weeks ahead of schedule weighing a whole 6 lbs. and 11 ozs. A perfect blond, curly headed, blue eyed baby boy. Mommys little man :)

You, middle D, took me by complete surprise. At the age of three weeks, Doctor. T diagnosed you with what he called "the most severe case of separation anxiety that he had ever seen". I was the only one you let hold you and you had to be snuggled right next to my heart or your world ended. You were lost with out me. And my dear son, I'd be the exact same way without you. Happy birthday my sweet only son. I love you and hope that we always have our "lost without you" bond. ~Mommy

You've got a friend in me

We celebrated the birthdays of our two youngest d's yesterday. I must say, It was a huge success!!! The first place I went to when I started planning this party was Target.com (of course) I searched their site and budgeted and planned and coordinated, and made a huge list of things to buy for the party. I made a special two hour trip to the Fort Smith Target with my list in hand only to find nothing related to Toy Story or Buzz Lightyear. I later found out that they were "holding" all Toy Story related party merchandise until March 23. Three days after my scheduled birthday party! Needless to say, I was a little bit upset...er, alot upset! I came home and searched online at party stores everywhere only to end up with the same answer...blah, blah, blah...March 23! I considered changing their party theme to something different, but seriously, what are you gonna do for a 2 year old girl and a 6 year old little boy? So I stuck with it. I hunted. I googled. I scraped and mother-in-lawed...and whimmed it. And I'll say it again, It was a huge success!!!

I ordered Toy Story figurines from the Disney Store. Yeah, I know, Toy Story toys everywhere! But no party stuff! I baked and decorated their cakes my self. I got army men from wal-mart and put them around the cakes. We bought Toy Story buckets and used them to tie balloons on for center pieces. They turned out really pretty. We made green punch and blue koolaid and put them on a purple table cloth. It was very buzz lightyear. The sandwiches were star shaped to resemble Woody's sheriff badge. And everything else was color coordinated. My wonderful mother in law found Toy Story balloons and a buzz lightyear pinata!

We did gift tables in green and purple. I used middle d's buzz light year pics for his gift table center piece. I wish I had thought to use the pics of little d dressed as woody for her center piece. Oh well, life happily goes on.

Steven played lots of fun games with the kiddos that came. I think the pinata was every ones favorite! Seriously? Who doesn't like beating things with bats every once in a while? Especially when, the harder you hit, the more the candy flows!

Thanks to everyone who came out and joined us in this marvelous celebration. Little d would like to especially thank everyone for buying her EVERYTHING that walmart carries that is Toy Story related. This was a blast and we are soooo excited about next year!!!

busy, busy, beeeezzzz!!! I mean deeezzzzzz!!!!!

My day started at 7:00 a.m.!!! For those of you who don't know, that's EARLY!!! Anyway, today was picture day at school (YAYAYAYAY <- that's exaggerated yay!) After bathing, drying, dressing, combing, and shipping the older d's off to school, I came home and rounded up everyone else in the house including myself and went to the church building. At the church building, Rachel and I baked three cakes and twenty-four cup cakes. We also made and colored five batches of icing (that makes me happy :P )!!! While I made icing and cakes, Rachel decorated our army guy cupcakes and they look fabulous!!!

Did I mention that the in laws rolled in around 10:30 a.m.??? Yup. They took us out to lunch at this neat little place with the happiest servers in the world!

Ooh, we also had a our fourth soccer game today! Not to boast or brag or say anything that would make me sound really proud or like I might be rubbing it in a little too much, but WE WON WE WON WE WON!!!! You should've seen them. They were out there kicking butt...I mean balls!..er...anyway, it was awsome! Maybe the grandparents should drive 13 hours to come and watch every game. Maybe theyre our good luck charms...or maybe I just have the world's greatest soccer players ever!!! Hey! It's my blog and I'm allowed to be a bragging SOccER MoM!!! Did I mention middle D scored his first goal today? Well, he did! Did I also mention that Big D was the best defender ever today? Well, she was!!!...okay, I'm done. I think!

I left out a lot of hairy details, but man am I tired! More to come and maybe a little less rambeling next time! Maybe!
Can I add just one more pic???

Thanx Rachel!

Sweet Girl, You are 2.

Two years ago, on this day. Sweet little d, you arrived twenty days early at 9:01 p.m. . A 7lb 4oz 21 1/2 inch long bundle of pure sweetness.

Twenty three months ago, you exhausted us with all of your confusion as to why any one would ever sleep...EVER!

Twenty two months ago, you amused us with all of your sweet rantings. You would ramble on and on about everything. And you gave us your first smile :)

Twenty one months ago, you scared us with your first ear infection. Mommy and Daddy spent there first anniversary with you in the E.R.

Twenty months ago, you ate your first solid food. You also made it very clear to us that you didn't like anything that wasn't orange or yellow.

Nineteen months ago, you delighted us with your first burst of extreme happiness, you laughed out loud.

Eighteen months ago, you spoke your first word "dada" and in the same month, mastered 6 other words. You also gave us our first full nights sleep since your arrival.

Seventeen months ago, you coordinated waving your hand and saying hey-hey at the same time.

Sixteen months ago, you once again exhausted us by not sleeping through the night the entire month, waking up multiple times per night. You also started fake sneezing and coughing :)

Fifteen months ago, you didn't need us as a way of transportation. You started crawling and decided that you would get around by your self...ALL of The time!!!

Fourteen months ago, you made your brothers bedroom your favorite place to ransack, and grew your first two teeth.

Thirteen months ago, you grew a little bit of desperately needed hair. You also decided that bookshelves were not for storing books and toys...EVER!

Twelve months ago, We celebrated as you took your first steps and had your first birthday.

Seven months ago, You decided that you weren't gonna let us feed you anymore and that you were going to feed yourself. You decided this at Larry and Jan Atchleys house. They were having soup...need I say more?

Four months ago, you officially started sleeping through every night and celebrated your second Christmas. You figured that present unwrapping thing out, and it was on from there :) You also became obsessed with Toy Story. Woody and buzz started out as "weedy booze"

Two months ago, you amazed us and started putting sentences together by your self. Woody and buzz became "we boze"

One month ago, you once again amazed us by adding over 50 new words to your vocabulary. Woody and buzz became "We Buzsh"

Two weeks ago, we woke up one day to this little girl who only spoke sentences. Woody and buzz were exactly that, "Woody and Buzz.

One week ago, It took almost an hour to dress you because you spoke these words very clearly "I don't like that" to every option I presented you with.

Today, You celebrate your Second birthday. You are a sweet and charming little tot. You have lots of hearts in your hand. Daddy is your favorite person in the whole world. You have him wrapped around all 10 of your little fingers. You can speak over 200 words and most of the time you use them correctly ;) Happy Birthday Sweet little d! Thank you completing our family. Thank you for the memories both the sweet and the exhausting. Thank you for fufilling my dreams of having two daughters. Thank you for being you. Hope this birthday is an awesome one for you.

One month from now, we hope to say that little d has given up her bed time bottle :/

md: "Mommy? Do we have soccer today?

me: "yup, at 5:30"

md: "Mommy? What time is it?"

me: "Its almost 4:00"

md: "Mommy? Where are we going now"

me: "To baptize Ronnie."

md: "Why?"

Big D: "So Ronnie can go to heaven."

md: *shocked, scared, terrified, teary eyed* "Mommy?"

me: "What's the matter Dom?"

md: "Ronnie's gonna die today?"

me: "No silly goose! When Ronnie dies, he will go to heaven."

md: "You mean were all gonna die?"

me: "yeah, someday."

md: "Oooohhh, I thought only old people died!"....
