Soccer game no.1

Today we had our first soccer game. In the beginning, they played like they were pro's...and near the end, they just....stopped all together. I don't know if putting little guys on a field at 9 a.m. in the morning was such a good thing either. My kiddos aren't really morning people at all. Big D's shoes are too big. I think that's why she wasn't playing her best. And this is Middle d's first year on a U8 and it's a little different for him. Long story short, we lost :(



Look at them! Don't cha just want to eat em' up??? See the little guy on the end? No.1? He battled Neuroblastoma (spelling?)last season and never missed a game! What a trooper! He's in remission now by the way. But if you don't mind, stop and say a prayer for this little guy. Praise God for healing him and giving him more time here with his mom and dad and our soccer team!!!



So far, that's all I've got for today. Were going to a youth rally later today though. I'm sure that'll be exciting enough to blog about. Hope everyone has a happy Saturday!
